work with iPhone sync cable?

http://www1.canadacomputers.com/ProductImages/001537/594.jpg

Will this cable work with iPhone sync cable or will the length diminish its effectiveness at syncing or charging? I find the default sync cable that comes with the iPhone just a tad short, so a 6' extension is a bit of overkill.

The Wonders of Picasa 3.5

Picasa 3.5 now has a handy sidebar that toggles between People Places and Tags. "People" identifies all the faces in your photo folder and allows you to associate them with names in you Google Contacts. Very cool. "Places" throws up a Google map with markers for each of your geotagged photos. As you jump from photo to photo and folder to folder, the map jumps around to highlight the area covered. Very, very cool. "Tags" displays a list of all the tags or keywords in your photos IPTC metadata. You can select one or multiple photos and add new tags. I assume they go back into the IPTC of the photo so that other programs can read them. I think also that Picasa has dropped the nonsense of not allowing tags with spaces in them -- such as "East York" -- which is a good thing.

This shopping list of features doesn't convey the excitement of actually trying Picasa 3.5 -- I encourage you to give it a go today!
